Looking for HYROX classes in Kingston? UFIT is proud to be an official HYROX Training Club — bringing the world’s fastest-growing fitness race to our community. Whether you’re chasing your first HYROX race or looking for a new way to push your limits, UFIT’s programming is built to deliver results.


Starting Monday, September 29, UFIT will offer 4 HYROX Training classes each week:

  • Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 5:45am
  • Monday at 12:00pm


What is HYROX?

HYROX is the global fitness race that combines running with functional workout stations to test both strength and stamina. The official race format is: 1km run + 1 workout station, repeated 8 times (8km total running).The functional stations include ski erg, rowing, sled push, sled pull, farmer’s carry, lunges, wall balls, and burpee broad jumps. The format never changes, making it measurable, repeatable, and globally ranked. Whether you’re an elite athlete or just looking to try something new, HYROX is built for all fitness levels.

What to Expect in a HYROX Class at UFIT

Our HYROX Training classes are high-energy, high-reward sessions designed to prepare you for race day or simply level up your fitness. Each 45-60 minute class includes:

  • Dynamic warm-up and cool-down
  • Outdoor runs or use of our air runner treadmills
  • HYROX-specific movements (ski erg, rower, sleds, wall balls, and more)

You can expect longer-format intervals, aerobic capacity training, muscle endurance work and running under fatigue. Bring your running shoes and get ready to grind!
